• Masters of Hardcore used our HOLODECK ecosystem to bring MC Tha Watcher to life as a giant digital sea monster interacting live with more than 30,000 fans on the mainstage through a 1,200 square meter LED wall installation. Fully driven in real time, Tha Watcher was able to directly control and respond to the crowd, creating an intense sense of live presence that blurred the line between performer, creature, and audience.

Founded in 1995, Masters of Hardcore has grown into one of the world’s most iconic hardcore music brands and one of the largest hardcore festivals globally. Over the past three decades, the event has become a cornerstone of Dutch hardcore culture, featuring artists such as Angerfist, Miss K8, Paul Elstak, Mad Dog, and many others. The 2025 edition, “Temple of Resonance,” celebrated the festival’s 30 year anniversary at the Brabanthallen in Den Bosch.

MC Tha Watcher himself is considered one of the defining voices in hardcore history, hosting and shaping the atmosphere of countless legendary events and anthems throughout the genre’s evolution. By transforming him into a towering live digital creature, Persona3D expanded the traditional role of an MC into a fully immersive real time performance experience.

Our work combined motion capture performance, digital creature animation, and post-production polishing to seamlessly blend physical set design with immersive digital storytelling.

Since its opening, Danse Macabre has received major international recognition, including the 2025 Thea Award for Outstanding Achievement, widely considered one of the highest honors in themed entertainment, as well as the Golden Ticket Award for Best New Family Attraction and the Park World Excellence Award for Best Dark Ride or Media-Based Experience of the Year.

  • For ENTR, we recorded all motion capture performances using the HOLODECK ecosystem, followed by cleanup and animation polishing in post-production. ENTR is the first cultural VR museum in the Netherlands, focused on shared free-roam virtual reality experiences where visitors physically walk together through immersive historical and cultural worlds. Its debut experience, Amsterdam 1652, allows audiences to step inside a fully interactive reconstruction of 17th-century Amsterdam, developed in collaboration with historians and archival researchers. The museum has recently opened its doors at a AAA location in Amsterdam, featuring a 2,000 square meter multi-VR-room facility designed for large-scale immersive experiences and group-based virtual storytelling.
